Ancestral Pueblo: Greater Mogollon | Jornada Mogollon | Northern Jornada (Sierra Blanca) | Northern Jornada White Ware |
First posted by Dean Wilson 2014
White wares found in almost all sites in the Northern Jornada region are reflected by the long production of Chupadero Black-on-white. The presence of distinct striations on the exterior surface appears to reflect very distinct finishing techniques not used in other white wares produced in the Southwest. The only other white ware produced in the Northern Jornada region if reflected by the very brief and geographic limited production of Tabria Black-on-white at large villages occupied during the historic period.
